Dr. Baghal is a gastroenterologist and internist treating patients in Prospect Park, Haledon, Paterson, Clifton, Woodland Park Wayne, and Northern New Jersey. His goal is to treat his patients as if they were members of his own family, and he strives to provide thorough, attentive, and compassionate care. Dr. Baghal earned his medical degree at the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine. He continued his education in gastroenterology, internal medicine, and rheumatology at Seton Hall University. Dr. Baghal is affiliated with Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Wayne and Paterson NJ, Saint Mary General Hospital and Hudson Regional Hospital. Dr. Baghal provides almost all procedures related to the GI tract, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCPs and stent placement, GI motility studies, and percutaneous liver biopsy. In his free time, Dr. Baghal enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys swimming, hiking, and riding his motorcycle.
