Dr. Baghal is an internist and board-certified gastroenterologist. He is the founder of Millennium Gastroenterology Center, which is dedicated to providing patient care and all GI services to Bergen and Essex Counties in New Jersey. His goal is to treat his patients as if they were members of his own family, and he strives to provide thorough, attentive, and compassionate care. Dr. Baghal earned his medical degree at the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine. He continued his medical education in internal medicine, rheumatology, and gastroenterology at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, and he has over 25 years of experience. Dr. Baghal is affiliated with Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Wayne and Paterson, NJ; Saint Mary General Hospital in Passaic; and Secaucus University Hospital in Secaucus. Dr. Baghal provides almost all procedures related to the GI tract, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCPs and stent placement, GI motility studies, and percutaneous liver biopsy. In his free time, Dr. Baghal enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys swimming, hiking, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
